Madison Avenue: Enough already!
Real people are facing real problems in this economic climate. Your "funny bailout" ad ideas of 99 cent cheeseburgers, $5.00 pizzas, and "low financing on gas guzzling pickups" aren't helping anyone, and they aren't clever or funny.

It was the same story after 9/11, a bunch of "we're so patriotic because we're offering low financing on cars and waving flags in the background of our burger advertisements." I guess this crap must work otherwise they would not keep doing it.
