These drivers, at least based on size and timestamp of the driver and UI (.cab files), are the same as the previous release from Jan 2010. I only saw one file with a new timestamp, but the contents are still identical.

Not sure what this release is, and it says (Beta) on the Realtek website.

As I can see it is not a new driver ,it is the same as the previous realese . I have a big problem with my alfa and I can not find the solution .

This is the newest version from Realtek. Whenever they release a new package with fixes of any kind, even if the actual driver or UI is the same, it is a new version. For example, there may have been a glitch resolved in the installer if there was one.

We do not know specifically what has changed, this is just the newest version from Realtek and the purpose of this post was to inform users about this.

To commenters having issues with their Alfa device, please contact us directly for individual support if purchased from us, or contact your retailer if purchased from another place- we are not able to provide individual support in blog post comments. Thanks!
