Per my blog post last night, yesterday I tested the forthcoming N3 adapter from Rokland for the first time against the Alfa AWUS036H 500mW adapter, and was surprised at the results. I threw together a quick video today to show the difference. I apologize for the quality of the video, we will have some better quality footage of the N3 and the comparison as the launch date nears (July 1st is the projected launch date of the N3). But about 1:03 into the video up until about 1:08 you can see the additional signals appear after the N3 is hooked up to the computer.

And what about vs. Afa AWUS050NH
The Alfa AWUS050NH is unavailable right now while Alfa gets ready to launch of a version 2 of the same model number. See here for details.
We will have some tests of the new version 2 vs. the n3 when the version 2 of AWUS050NH is available. Right now you can still buy version 1 from some retailers. We did not test vs. the version 1 because we are out of stock, but also because the version 1 did not outperform the AWUS036H in head to head testing (though presumably it would down the road when more available signals come from 802.11n routers instead of 802.11g).
Finally blog with useful informations.
